    • Milton J. Vandenhoven, 85, Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 15, 1927 in Green Bay to the late Mathias and Agnes (Champeau) Vandenhoven. Milton served his country in the U.S. Air Force for two years working in administration. On September 14, 1948, he married Evelyn Nooyen at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bay Settlement. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2012. Milton worked as a letter carrier for over 20 years until his retirement. He then went to work for Lamers Bus Lines as a school bus driver, where he proudly drove the same route for 22 years. Milton enjoyed spending time with his family, reading and the outdoors.He is survived by his 6 children, Kit (Sharon) Vandenhoven, Lakewood; Patricia (Mike) Clark, Sun Prairie; Connie (Peter) Corsten; Barbara (Thomas) Vandermuss; Lynn DuBois; and Scott (Holly) Vandenhoven, all of Green Bay; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Rita Huven; Eileen (Leo) Charlier; Bernadette Blodgett.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Patrick and Jeff Vandenhoven; 1 grandson, Timothy DuBois; 2 brothers-in-law, Cyril Huven and Bernard Blodgett.Friends may call at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane; on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Memorial Mass 12 noon Monday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family.
