    • Barbara A. Howerton, age 65, of Little Chute, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013, with her family by her side. She was born on February 20, 1948, in Waukegan, Illinois, daughter of the late Paul and Rhea Balgie. Barb's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was the quintessential grandmother to her grandchildren and loved spoiling them.

Barb is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ambers Howerton, and her little 4 legged girl Lizzy; her three sons: Curt (Laurie) Howerton, Mike (Christi) Howerton and Rob "Howie" (Erica) Howerton; five grandchildren: Brady, Ava, Sabrina, Noah and Alayna and many grand pups and kitties. Barb is further survived by her siblings: Carl (Nancy) Balgie, Jim (Denise) Balgie and Mary (Mike) Frank; her Godmother, Doris Vosters; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.

Barb's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their wonderful care given to Barb.

Barb was a great person and will be truly missed by her family.
