- My Great-Grandpa Ed Spierings had a lot of interesting jobs in Little Chute.
The first job was being a water boy for the people building Super Highway 41. We know it as Highway OO.
Ed Spierings then bought the Little Chute Pop factory. At the factory, they sold 7 oz. and 10 oz. bottles. The 7 oz. sold for $1 a case. The 10 oz. sold for $2 a case.
Finally, he became the Village of Little Chute President. He was president for 17 years.
