      Mrs. Merline Dies At Daughters Home

      OCONTO- Mrs. A. M. Merline, 85, former Oconto resident, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs C. J. Desotell, at Green Bay. She had been making her home with her daughter since August, 1954. She had been an invalid since November, 1954, and seriously ill for 10 weeks. The former Agatha VanRyzen was born in Appleton April 24, 1871, and was married to Antone Merline, former Oconto city treasurer, on May 31,1893. The couple observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1953. He died in 1954.
      She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church where final rites will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert Klein will officiate and burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
      Survivors are three other daughters, Mrs. Stanley Lorang of Flint, MI., Mrs. Alfred Clausen of Green Bay and Mrs. Frank Dietzler of Lena; a son, Paul of Kenosha, 15 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
      The body is at Sheffield funeral home where friends may call from 7 tonight until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Rosary service will be held at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
