  Mrs. Henry W. Janssen Genevieve "Gen" Janssen 1006 La Follette St., Little Chute Age 71, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feburary 4, 1990 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born July 9, 1918 in Little Chute. Prior to her retirement she had worked at Parkside Care Center. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law: Gene and Virgie Janssen, Little Chute; Mike and Alice Janssen, Little Chute; Don and Karlene Janssen, Shawano; Cliff and Pat Janssen, Little Chute; Marv and Pat Janssen, Little Chute; three brothers: James Jansen, Milwaukee; Mark and Sally Jansen, Fayetteville, Pennsylvania; Marv and Ione Jansen, Kimberly; a sister, Arlene and Elmer Welhouse, Torrance California; four sisters-in-law: Martha Jansen, Little Chute; Jane Jansen, Little Chute; Alice Janssen; De Pere; Viola Janssen, Kaukauna; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Peter and Margaret Jansen; her husband, Henry Janssen, in 1972; a son, Robert; also two infant sons, two brothers: Jerome and Edward Jansen; and a sister, Evelyn Diedrich Huss. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 1990 from St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the services. Verkuilen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
