    • Jean Coenen, age 70, of Two Rivers, died Thursday evening, Jan. 15, 2004 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, St. Luke Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Bob Rhyner with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Jean was born Jan. 27, 1933 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Julian and Anna Auclair Lafond. She attended St. Luke Grade School and Washington High School graduating with the class of 1951. On Jan. 5, 1952, Jean married Kenneth Coenen at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She was employed at Paragon Electric for 29 years and was a member of the PECO Club. Jean was also a member of the Ladies of St. Luke and St. Peter the Fisherman. Survivors include her husband and their children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, a special friend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004 at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home. Concluding the visitation will be a prayer service led by Deacon Bill Klein. Visitation will continue Monday, Jan. 19 at the St. Luke Site from 9 am. until the time of Mass at 10a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two~Rivers is assisting the Coenen family with funeral arrangements. Thank you to the many doctors, especially Dr Thayer and Dr. Bhatt for the years of balancing her conditions to allow quality family life for us. The loving nurses and staff at Holy Family Memorial Dialysis Center for two years of excellent care, the ambulance service and transport vans that responded to our needs, all the friends who prayed, sent cards or treats to bring hope and cheer to Jean.
