    • Wrightstown - Rosalee Aerts, age 79, of Wrightstown, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at her home. The daughter of the late Robert and Martha Coenen was born June 26, 1939 in Kaukauna. She graduated from Wrightstown High School and on April 14, 1959, married Donald Aerts at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. She enjoyed sewing/needle work, gambling, playing cards, cooking and baking Christmas candy for Dick's and spending time with family and friends. Her faith was important to her, and she was involved in the Catholic Knights-Wrightstown Branch as treasurer for nearly 30 years, as well as assembling the church bulletin, assisting with the school census and coordinating funeral luncheons for many families. Rose used her gifts to assist with the spring and summer plantings in the Village of Wrightstown as well.

      Survivors include her husband, Don; children: Paul (Nita) Aerts and their children Tim, Emily and Brenden; Dan (Dawn) Aerts and their children Mariah Aerts, Ben, Adam and Becca Ribarchek, Tamara Smith; Kathy (Steve) Koltz; David (Tracy) Aerts and their children Samuel and Jacob; and Sara Aerts.

      In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her stepmother Gerry Coenen and brother Curt Coenen.

      Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Thursday, May 9, from 4-7pm with a parish prayer service to conclude the visitation at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, at the church, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery- Wrightstown. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
