Age 66, died Monday, June 3, 1996 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. She was born on November 5, 1929 in Appleton, the daughter Norbert and Helen [Van Ryzin] Hoffmann. She married Thomas Connor Dineen on February 6, 1954 in Appleton at St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Agnes School of Nursing and worked as a nurse in the Appleton area until she was married. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Oakfield and its Altar Society. She helped as a volunteer with the church's religious education. She also was a member of St. Agnes School of Nusing Allumi Assocation.
She is survived by her husband Thomas, Oakfield; three daughters, Ann [Tom] Rosenthal, Wausau; Susan Dineen and friend Stephen Barone, Madison; Louise [Jeljko] Medved, Salida, Colorado; six sons, Bill [Tina] Dineen, Oakfield; Robert Dineen and his friend, Sue Michels, Fond du Lac; Chuck [Cindy] Dineen, Brownsville; Paul Dineen, Oakfield; John [Kim] Dineen, Brownsville; Tom M. Dineen, Pulaski; a brother, Charles Hoffman; ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents. A liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 1996 at 6:45 p.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home an 7:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Oakfield. Rev. Donald Zerkel will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6:45 Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield. A memorial fund has been established for St. Agnes Catholic Church.
