- Olive A. Emons, age 87, of Darboy, passed away at St. Paul Elder Services on November 7, 2018. She was born in Appleton on July 28, 1931 to Joseph and Anna (Nickels) Schimmers. She married Harold Emons of Darboy on March 3, 1962 at St. Bernadette Church, Appleton. Prior to her marriage she was employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Rita Berken; a brother, Russell (Gail) Schimmers, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers and sisters: Frank (Marie) Schimmers, Alice Schimmers, Josephine (Victor) Bellin, Stanley Morgan, Oliver (Dorothy) Schimmers and Florence (Ervin) Knutsen; brother-in-law, Emmett Berken; father and mother-in-law: Albert and Theresa Emons; and a niece Joyce Kroner.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018, at Holy Spirit Parish, Darboy Church, W5831 County Rd. KK, Appleton, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
