  • Notes
    • Charles Arthur Anderson, 61, of Appleton, passed away into the arms of the Lord Jesus Wednesday night, March 6th, after a battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Chuck was a Production Supervisor at Bel Brands USA, where he worked for over 30 years. Chuck enjoyed watching the Packers and other sports and playing poker. He was a fantastic cook. Chuck was an avid Elvis fan and could impersonate him very well, and many would agree that he looked like and could sing like him. Above all, Chuck will be remembered for how much he loved his two sons and three grandchildren. Nothing was more precious to him than spending time with them, whether playing mini-golf, catching a Packer game, or sharing a family meal. He loved his family deeply and sacrificially; there's nothing he wouldn't do for them. He was truly a loving, gracious, and devoted father and grandfather. He was a wonderful blessing to his entire family, friends, and co-workers.

His family takes much comfort that in the final couple months of Chuck's life he came to personally know The Lord Jesus, trusting His words, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die (John 11:25-26). His family rests knowing that they will see him again in Heaven with the Lord.

Chuck is survived by his two sons, Derek, of Appleton, and Dustin (Kristen) of Plano, TX; three grandchildren Vincent, Vanessa, and Charis; seven siblings, Linda (Donnie) Gilbertson, Dallas, Diane, Judy (Mike) Olm, Paul, Mike (Barb) Anderson, Jeff (Lisa), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Betty, and ex-wife, Shirley.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 12, 2014 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral at 7:00 p.m. Committal Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
