Rebecca "Becca" Danielle Verbeten passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31 on May 26, 2023. She was born January 9, 1992 to Terry and Lisa (Landeau) Verbeten of Kaukauna. She graduated from Kaukauna High School with the class of 2010 and was pursuing a nursing degree from UW-Oshkosh.
She is survived by her parents; children: Carson, Athena, and Iris; sisters: Aubrey (Tori) Immel and Andrea (Andrew) Rupnow; nieces and nephews: Teydon, Claire, Marcie, and Wesley; grandmother, Glenda Gigante; special friend Josh Mahon and his son Liam; and, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rebecca was passionate about people and constantly offered whatever help she could give. She adored her three children and took every opportunity to shower them with love. She had an electric, goofy, and undoubtedly, quirky personality that drew people in. She was great at getting people to laugh, especially through her silly dance moves, playfulness, and lack of directional awareness. She loved singing and soccer, but above all, she loved God and made it her daily mission to be a reflection of His servant's heart. She had an unconditional, selfless love that she poured into everyone she met.
Rebecca had the most radiant smile, was sassy (usually) with the best intentions, and gave her whole heart to anything she believed in.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Lloyd Landeau and James and Rosella (School) Verbeten; cousins: Dillon Landeau, Joshua Verbeten, and Mark Kiar; aunt, Sheila (Verbeten) Novachich; and, uncle, James Beahm.
Her celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Pathways Church, 311 W. Evergreen Drive, Appleton. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the ceremony at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in memory of Rebecca and can be mailed to: Memorial Fund, 1309 Haen Drive, Kaukauna, WI, 54130. |
