Bert Weyenberg 2501 E. Northland Ave. age 82, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday following a brief illness. He was born September 15, 1900 in Outagamie County and was a life long resident of Appleton. From 1930 until 1940, he ownd and operated the Weyenberg Dairy. After that time, he was involved in Dairy farming until his retirement. Mr. Weyenberg was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a past president of the Dairy Bottle Exchange, on the board of directors of the Outagamie County Equity Coop. and Credit Union, and was associated for many years with the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation (ASC) Office. He was involved with various Square Dance Groups in the valley.
Survivors include, a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence 'Butch' (Roberta) 'Babe' Plach, Menasha; a son, James W. Weyenberg, Neenah; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Forster Weyenberg, three brothers and a sister.
The complete Concelebrated Mass will be at 11a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, with Father Paul Feider and Father Gerald Jalk Concelebrating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, and after 8 a.m. Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. The prayer and scripture will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday. A memorial fund being established.
