      Vincent J. Kolosso 69 of Route 1, Manawa brother of Mrs. Ken (Margaret) Kiffe of Kaukauna, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 6, from an apparent heart attack. He had been superintendent of the International Wire Works, Menasha, for 39 years.

      He was born November 24, 1908 in the Town of Little Wolf and was married to the former Rose Pitzen on April 24, 1934, at St. Joe. He resided in Appleton since his marriage until 1972 when he moved to the Town of Little Wolf.

      Mr. Kolosso retired as superintendent of the International Wire Works in 1974. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa, and a former member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.

      Survivors besides his sister, Mrs. Kiffe of Kaukauna, are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Michael (Rosemary) Grabner and Mrs. George (Carol) Sanderfoot, both of Appleton, Mrs. Lee (Annie) Hein of St. Louis, Missouri, Mrs. Jack (Jeanette) King of Watertown, and Mrs. Craig (Joan) Loos of St. Paul, Minnesota; three sons, James of Albany, New York, Thomas of Menasha, and Steve of Appleton; four brothers, Robert, Daniel and Pete, all of Appleton, and Michael of Slinger; two other sisters, Sister Audrey of Manitowoc, and Miss Agnes Kolosso of Appleton; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, a son, and two brothers.

      Funeral services were at noon Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa, with the Rev. Norman Krutzik officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton.

      The Kline Hanson and Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa, was in charge of arrangements.
