    • MRS. J.A. BIERSTEKER
      Mrs. J.A. Biersteker (Gussie), 73 of 537 Broadway, died Saturday at Eau Claire Manor. A native of Nelson, WI, she had resided here the past 44 years.

      Mrs. Biersteker attended LaCrosse Teachers College and taught school in North Dakota and Wisconsin prior to her marriage in 1915. She was a member of the UCT auxiliary, the Wisconsin Aviary Association, the Buffalo County Historical Club, the National Auxiliary of the Society of the Cincinnati composed of descendants of officers of the Continental Army during the revolution, the Cascade Cemetery Association and of St. Patrick's Church.

      Surviving are her husband, John A., two daughters, Mrs.Joseph Grasser and Mrs. Max Lindoo, of Eau Claire, three brothers, Richard Reinhardt of Eau Claire, Jules of Lake Wissota and Charles of Nelson, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Griffin Eau Claire, and Mrs. Harry Benjamin, Arcadia, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

      Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday at Stokes and Sons Chapel and at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, the Rev. P.L. Servais officiating. Services will also be held at the Cascade Chapel at Nelson at 1 p.m. Monday with burial at the Cascade Chapel.
