      Age 80, went to eternal life Friday, June 21, 2002 at home with his family by his side. Born April 15, 1922, son of the late John and Jane Weyenberg. On June 7, 1947 he was united in marriage to Margie Syring. Together they raised seven children. Orville enjoyed singing and playing cards and dominoes with his family and friends. Orville graduated from St. Nicholas Catholic School. In 1947 he took over the family farm. After retiring from farming, he worked at Freedom High School as a custodian and Swinkles bussing, where he enjoyed the kids as much as they enjoyed him. Orville enjoyed many years at his hunting cabin in Neilsville. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, The Knights of Columbus, St. Nicholas Church Choir, and the Freedom Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie his children: Amy (Gary) Hodkiewicz Lyle (special friend, Paula) Weyenberg Rick (Ann) Weyenberg Cathy (special friend, Steve) Van Den Berg Dave (Gail) Weyenberg Mary (Paul) Jochman a daughter-in-law, Donna Sprister and the treasures of his lifetime, his 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by two foster children, Alice (Earl) Steffens and Norm (Marge) Van Beek. He is further survived by a sister, Irene Stephani a brother, Clyde (Ardene) Weyenberg a brother-in-law, Leon Spletter Margie's family: Betty (Ed) Hooyman Mike (Del) Syring, and Tom Syring. He is preceded in death by a son, Ron Sprister grandson, Ryan Weyenberg mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Cecelia Syring three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray (Eve) Merv (Myrtle) and Gene (Polly) Weyenberg three sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha (Ted) Van Dyke Dorothy Spletter, and Rita Anunson. Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m. with Father Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family.

      The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Eugene Rigstad, Dr. Jeffery Klingbeil, Dr. William Guenther, and Hospice.

      To all my children: thank you for all the love, care, and respect you have given me. I am so proud of each and everyone of you and so is your mother. Be good to each other love one another. Till we meet again, my love to you all. Dad and Grandpa
