      Age 56, died Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at home with her family by her side. Lynn was born January 10, 1947 in Little Chute daughter of Earl and Marie (DeCoster) Driessen. She married Gerald Beattie, November 30, 1977 in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Beattie enjoyed spending time outside with her flowers, doing crafts and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

      Lynn is survived by her husband, Gerald a brother, David (Rose) Driessen, Combined Locks two sisters: Susan (Gene) Wildenberg, Kaukauna Jennifer (Steve) Rochon, Kimberly two stepsons: Jeff Beattie, Appleton Dan Beattie and special friend Linda, Clintonville a stepdaughter, Karen (Don) Veerkamp, Appleton a daughter-in-law, Gina Beattie, Oshkosh two grandchildren: Jeremiah and Ashley Beattie, Oshkosh five sisters-in-law: Yvonne Ackley, Dallas, Texas Jeanne Johnson, Green Bay Mary Ellen Sanders, Kaukauna Joan (Rod) LaFond, Hilbert Noreen (Bob) Mrotek, Kaukauna two brothers-in-law: Roy (Nat) Beattie, New Orleans Ron Beattie, Little Chute many nieces, nephews and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary Beattie two sisters-in-law: Pat Massey and Mary Ann Beattie three brothers-in-law: Carl Johnson, Doug Ackley and Dan Sanders.

      A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Verkuilen Funeral Home with Rev. Bronnie Stroud officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

      A special thank you to the Calumet County Hospice Agency, especially nurse Jacqueline Downey, Drs. Whiteside and Mariano.
