      Hedtke, Evelyn M.
      Evelyn M. Hedtke, age 74, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton, WI, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 1, 1934, in Appleton, WI, to Robert and Nellie (Gartlin) Jamison. She graduated from Hortonville High School in 1952. Evelyn married Wallace "Wally" Hedtke on February 14, 1953, in Hortonville, at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her family was very important to her and spending time at the Cottage watching the birds. Evelyn was very close to her Church, family and friends.

      She is survived by her husband: Wally; four children: a daughter; Vicki Syring of Appleton and her children Jeremy (Alycia) and their children Jacquelyn and unborn baby, Jennifer Syring, Jason and Jessica and their daughters Hannah, Hayleigh; a son; Richard W. (Lori) Hedtke of Appleton and their children Derek and Aaron; a daughter; Mary Jahnel (special friend Bruce) of Menasha and her children Justin and Jesse; a daughter; Colleen (Vaughn) Kosmosky of Little Chute and their son Zachary; sisters: Mary (Jim) Tessen, Margaret Suprise, Rita (Victor) Petit, Anna Suprise, Ruth Voster; in-laws Doris Jamison, Ruby Hedtke, Leslie (Millie) Hedtke, Delores Hedtke, Daniel Hedtke, Gaylord (Dorothy) Hedtke; and many nieces and nephews.

      Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: a brother: Francis and a son-in-law Gary Syring; brother-in-laws Kenneth Suprise, Laronzle Suprise, Vern Voster, Arnold Hedtke, Henry Hedtke; a sister-in-law Dee Hedtke.

      The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008, at St Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, WI, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday evening March 27, 2008, at the Valley Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and Friday morning at St Pius X Church from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Services.

      Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.
