      Funeral services for Robert P. Biese, 72, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church , Sherwood. Mr. Biese of W4904 Schaeffer Rd, Menasha, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 1988, at his home following a short illness. Born September 13, 1916, in Little Chute, he was the son of the late Peter and Katherine ( Ebben ) Biese. An area resident all his life, he was a Army Veteran of WW II. He was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company until the time of his retirement in 1977. Mr. Biese was a member of the Thilmany Quarter Century Club, the Leo Van Roy Post No. 265 American Legion of Darboy, and Sacred Heart Church.
      Survivors:10 Grandchildren; Jeff, Shelley, Mike, Tina, Amy, and Michael Biese, Staci , Jon T. , and Kristine Shiffert , and Kimberly Pahl ; five stepgrandchildren , Kristin, Amy and Jill Van Berkel, and Michael and Allen Van Grinsven; a great-grandson, Joshua J. Biese.
