Pritzl, Richard Joseph
Richard J. Pritzl, age 86, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008. He was born on July 26, 1921, in Greenville, WI, to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Gresl) Pritzl. Richard was united in marriage to Rita Sturm on November 28, 1944, in Appleton, WI. Richard was a plasterer and a homebuilder by trade and was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Pritzl; nine children: Jean (James) Schricker, Lee Pritzl, Linda (William) Jarzombeck, Eileen (Gary) Van Boxtel, Diane (Vincent) Neumann, James (Jeanne) Pritzl, Theresa (Ralph) Bates, William (Jane) Pritzl, Lisa (Charles) Cook; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; four sisters: Sister Lucille Pritzl OSF, Eldora Jiminez, Maria (Ronald) Jezerc, Laverne (Donald) Monyette; five brothers: Julius Pritzl, Robert Pritzl Jr., George (Joan) Pritzl, Victor (Donna) Pritzl, Harold (Dolly) Pritzl; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond Pritzl; a sister, Bernice Meier; and a daughter-in-law, Margaret Pritzl.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine Street, Appleton, WI with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Visitation will be at Church from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established in his name.
Burial will be at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Appleton.
