      Virginia M. Weyenberg 'Ginny' age 78 of Appleton, died Sunday, July 25, 1999 born July 4, 1921, the daughter of James and Freida (Hoppe) Burke. On August 29, 1942 she was united in marriage to Robert 'Pat' Weyenberg.

      Virginia is survived by two sons, William (Sheri) of Ashwaubenon, and Mike (Denise) of Appleton; one daughter, Ellen (Gary) Hartzheim of Appleton; two sisters, LaVerne (George) Denu of Beloit, and Nancy (John) Straw of Minocqua; four grandchildren, Todd (Deanna) Weyenberg, Jennifer (Marcus) Smith, Lindsey Weyenberg and Nicole Weyenberg; three step sisters, Rosie Murphy, Sparkey VanderLinden and Darla (Kurt) Cota and many other relatives and friends.

      She is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Smothers and Alice Pruitt; three brothers, Jim, Tom, and Kenny Burke; Step parents Agnes and Norris Illgen and a step brother George Fickle.

      Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 1999 at Valley Funeral Home, Appleton with Sister Joann Geossl O.S.F. officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
