BOY SUCCUMBS AFTER ACCIDENT
Donald Ebben, 8, Died This Morning; Hit by Car Monday
Donald Ebben, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Ebben, route 2, Kaukauna, died about 4 o'clock this morning at St. Elizabeth hospital of injuries received when he was sturck by a car driven by George H. Stannard, 47, Green Bay, on Highway 41, three miles from the Brown County line Monday afternoon.
Stannard told Sheriff Lymann B. Clark that the boy, who was playing with three of four other children in the ditch did not see his car approach because the boy was watching another car coming from the west. It was the sixtgh fatality from auto accidents in Outagamie County since January 1.
In addition to his parents, Donald is survived by one brother, Gerald, and two sisters, Dolores and Lois Ann, at home; and there grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Ebben, Kaukauna, and William Heindl, Kaukauna.
Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock Friday morning at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown, with the Rev. August Broekman in Charge. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 7 o'clock tonight. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight and Thursday night.

Donald Ebben, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Vince Ebben, Kaukauna, died Wednesday morning St. Elizabeth hospital of injuries received when he was struck by a car on superhighway 41 about 1 mile east of McCarty's crossing. The Ebben boy was playing with several other children along the side of the road and did not see the car approaching as he was watching a car coming from the other direction.
