Mrs. Helen [Hinkens] Miller 515 W. 1st St. Kimberly
Age 80, died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 1992. She was born May 2, 1912 in Little Chute, to the late John 'Rube' and Nellie Verstegen. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons in-law, Beata and Dick Hahn, Little Chute; Bonnie and Don Thews, Appleton; three sons and daughters in-law, Romy and Mary Hinkens, Fremont; Daryl and Barbarb Hinkens, Wisconsin Rapids; Duane and Ginny Hinkens, Wisconsin Rapids; a step daughter, Grace [Jack] Van Beek, Fremont; two sisters, Rita and Urban De Bruin, Kimberly; Irene O'Connor, Ripon; four sisters in-law, Genrose, Lil, Marsha and Marcie Verstegen; 17 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 16 step great grandchildren and a step great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by he husbans, Joseph Hinkens and Barnie Miller; four brothers, Paul 'Lefty' Verstegen, Leo 'Baker' Verstegen, Jerome 'Boney' Verstegen, Stanley 'Bud' Verstegen; a sister, Bea [Len] Smith; two step daughters, Bernice Zwiers and Cynthia LeClere; a step son, Raymond Hinkens; a granddaughter, Dawn Hinkens.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with the Rev. John Doerfler officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the services. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
