John Andrejeski, Well-Known Golfer, Succumbs at 44
John Andrejeski, 44, 425 W. Seventh street, Kaukauna, died unexpectedly after a heart attack at his home about 2 a.m. today. He was a well-known golfer in the Fox Cities.
He was born Oct. 25, 1914, in Poland. His family came to the United States in 1921 and after living in Milwaukee for a short time moved to Kaukauna. He was a maintenance mas at Thilmany Pulp and Paper company, Kaukauna.
He was active in the Fox Valley Golf club, Kaukauna, winning the club championship five times and the President's cup at least twice.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic church, Kaukauna, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today and Wednesday.
He is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Thomas Andrejeski, Kaukauna; a daughter, Lynn, and a son, Patrick, both at home; two brothers, Stephen, Kimberly, and Joseph, Neenah; and two sisters, Mrs. Jerome Yingling and Mrs. Alvin Newlin, both of Kaukauna.
