      Vosters, Jane Lamers
      Jane Vosters, 87, Freedom, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute with her loving family by her side. Jane was born on March 21, 1920, in Wrightstown, to Richard and Ann Lamers. On Oct. 2, 1941, she was united in marriage to Sylvestor (Ves) Vosters. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Freedom and the Christian Mothers. Jane farmed alongside her husband until her retirement in 1976. Up until her stay at the nursing home, her daily routine included attending church, breakfast at the local restaurant and then a visit to the farm or a ride around the countryside. She will be remembered for her love of sheepshead and still played every Thursday with the Freedom Golden Agers. Other favorite pastimes included bowling, bingo and watching the Green Bay Packers. She also attended many weddings, birthday parties and funerals.

      Jane is survived by her husband, Ves; ten children, Carol (Tom) Kray, Melbourne Beach, Fla., and their two children, Jackie (Craig) Stuart and Steve (Debbie) Kray; Ted (Dorothy) Vosters, Freedom, and their four children, Jeff (Mary) Vosters, John (Keri) Vosters, Jill (Brian) Rouse, and Jay (Tara) Vosters; Nancy (Jerry) Mader, Hollandtown, and their three children, Rick (Pauline) Mader, Todd (Michelle) Mader, and Lynn (Adam) Streubel; Dan (Linda) Vosters, Freedom, and their seven children, Craig (Leanne) Vosters, Kim (Paul) Kruckeberg, Brad (Mary) Vosters, Tami Vosters, Michelle (Kevin) VerVoort, Patty (Bruce) Opperman, and Tammy (Scott) Corrigan; Mike (Nancy) Vosters, Freedom, and their two children, Stacy (Adam) Landsverk and Kyle (Cathy) Vosters; Joanne (Greg) Baneck, Freedom, and their four children, Kurt (Abby) Baneck, Lance (fiance Trisha Graettinger), Jodi (fiance Ryan Calmes) and Jake; Carl (Julie) Vosters, Freedom, and their three children, Kelli (Tony) Verkuilen, Dawn (Jed) Manders and Cole; Terry (Tina) Vosters, Freedom, and their two children, Pamela (fiance Josh Bougie) and Eric (fiance Jenny Balke); Mary (Gary) Vandenberg, Niagara, Wis., and their four children, Robin, Holli, Darren and Jamie; Patty (Tony) Kirk, Menasha, and their two children, Tara and Collin; 43 great-grandchildren with twins on the way; brothers, Gordon Lamers, Lyle (Helen) Lamers, twin brother Gene Lamers, Paul (Helen) Lamers, and Marcel (Marilyn) Lamers; sisters, Mary (Gerald) Nackers, Rose (Francis) Schmidt, Frances (Robert) Haen, and Emily (Gordon) Vanderwyst; her husband's family, Clixta Vosters, Norb (Marion) Vosters, Gil (Isabelle) Vosters, Art Vosters, Jen Vosters, Simon Vosters, and Theresa (Lambert) Spierings; Godchildren, Jerry Lamers, Ron Vosters, Al VandeHey, Frank Turiff, Diane Busse, Diane Froelich, Jackie Stuart, Craig Vosters, Jeff Vosters and Rick Mader.

      In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Larry Vosters; and infant son Glen; Ves's parents, Martin and Anna Vosters; sister, Ruby (Bob) Turiff; sisters-in-law, Ellen Lamers; Mary Lamers; Delia Lamers; Eunice Vosters; and Arlene Vosters; brothers-in-law, Norb (Liz) Becker; Andrew Vosters; Gordon (Agnes) VandeHey; Bill Vosters; Ernie Vosters; Barney Van Handel; and Jim Vanden Heuvel.

      The family would like to thank the employees of Parkside Care Center, Verkuilen Funeral Home, her special friend Mary (Poppins) Procknow and the many friends and family members that came to visit. A special thanks for Fr. Dave's blessings and Deacon Don's frequent visits.

      Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at St. Nicholas Church in Freedom, with Father Dave officiating. Friends may call at Verkuilen Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

      In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

      Jane was a caring and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother and friend.

      Thanks for teaching us many life values; for always praying with us and for us. Health wise you weren't dealt the perfect hand. You endured many years of pain and now will rest in peace. We love you, and you will be in our hearts forever.
