Residents Dies At Green Bay
Mrs. George Ambrosius, 77, mother of three Kaukauna residents died Monday. February 13, at a Green Bay Nursing home. She had formerly resided in De Pere.
The former Mathilda Minten was born in Bellevue, Wisconsin, May 19, 1900 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Minten. She was married to George Ambrosius in 1919. Mrs. Ambrosius was a member of the. Ghristian Mothers of St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere. Survivors
from Kaukauna are two daughters, Mrs. John (Hattie) Van Wychen and Mrs. Norbert (Elizabeth) Van Hoof, and a son, Bernard of Kaukauna. Other survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. John (Idabelle) Bildings and Mrs. William (Florence) Lancelle, both of De Pere; two other sons, Ted and Geor,e, both of De Pere; 34 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren;
and a brother, Matt Minten of De Pere. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953, two brothers, Frank and George, and a sister, Mary.
Funeral services were at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, De Pere, with the Rev. John Van Der Horst officiating. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
