- George Ambrosius Dies in Hostpital
De Pere -- George Ambrosius, 55, town of Hobart farmer died at 5:30 Friday afternoon in a Green Bay hospital, two hours after he suffered a heart attack at his farm home. born Oct. 7, 1897, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Ambrosius. He served briefly in the Army during World War I.
Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. John Van Wycken of Kaukauna; Mrs. John Bildings of De Pere, and Elizabeth and Florence, at home; three sons, Theodore, George Jr., and Bernard, at home and three grandchildren. There are also six brothers, Joseph, Albert, John and William of De Pere; Louis of Wrightstown, and Adolph, Laona, and three sisters, Mrs. John Minten, De PEre; Mrs. PEter Siebers, Little Chute, and Mrs. Carl Van Ess, Green Bay.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Joseph Jansen at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Boniface church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be said at the Ryan Funeral home at 8 o'clock tonight and Sunday night.
