      Visocky, Paul D. Paul D. Visocky, 49, of Hortonville, died unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, May 5, 2006. He was born on January 25, 1957, in New London, son of Robert & Nancy (Oertel) Visocky. On June 16, 1978, he married Marlene Schneidewend in Appleton. Paul proudly served his country with the U.S. Marines during the evacuation of people out of Vietnam. He worked with Consolidated Construction Company in Appleton for over 25 years. He recently started his own construction business called P & M Construction.

      He is survived by his wife Marlene; his two daughters: Jennifer Schneidewend, Appleton; Mindy Visocky, Hortonville; his two sons: Travis Visocky, Menasha; Chad Visocky, Hortonville; two grandchildren: Malik Schneidewend and Hailey Visocky; two sisters: Pamela (Steve) Barton, Panama City Beach, Florida; Beth (David) Peters, Hortonville; five brothers: Mark Visocky, Malawi, Africa; Kirk (Lu) Visocky, Stephensville; Timothy (Lisa) Visocky, Hortonville; Barry Visocky and friend Bobbie, Greenville; Douglas Visocky, Greenville. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him.

      His grandparents preceded him in death.

      A memorial service for Paul will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
