- Marie Rose (Maes) Reybrock, age 88, of Little Chute, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Grand Horizons in Kimberly with her family at her side. She was born on October 24, 1924, in Kaukauna, daughter of Henry and Rose (Hoks) Maes. Marie married Norman Reybrock on June 1, 1946, in Kaukauna, and they spent the next 58 years together. Marie was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. She was a quiet, gentle woman who had a passion for reading and enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. She traveled throughout the country and abroad. She and Norman vacationed at Kelly Lake in the early years and at Post Lake for the last 25 years They spent many winters in Arizona and summers up north. Marie's greatest joy was her family and she loved having everyone get together for holidays and special events.
Marie is survived by her four sons: Gary (Dotty), John (Carol), Paul (Vicki) and Steve (Therese) Reybrock; six daughters: Joni (Ron) Remiker, Pat Austin, Sue (Gary) Van Hoof, Linda (John) Kappell, Barb (Tim) Kilgas and Janet (Jim) Geiger; 35 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren, with two more expected soon. She is further survived by a sister and two brothers: Joan Fahl, John (Sharon) and Dan (Jeanne) Maes; two sisters-in-law: Margaret and Bernice Maes, and many other nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 2004; her parents; two brothers: Henry and Paul; two sisters: Liz Peters and Dorothy VandenHeuvel; a son-in-law, Todd Austin; four infant great-grandchildren: Halle and Maria Vosters, Connor Greenthal and Azaleigh Remiker; Norman's parents. William and Mary (Ebben) Reybrock; sisters and brothers-in-law: Vic Pieters, Matt Hopfensperger, Warner Fahl, Jim VandenHeuvel, Nick and Jackie Reybrock, Pete and Dolores Reybrock.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. A memorial has been established in Marie's name.
The Reybrock family wishes to thank the staff at Grand Horizons, and the staff from Southern Care Hospice for the care they have given Marie.
