Age 76, died Saturday evening, January 11, 1986 after a lengthy illness. She was June 4, 1909 in the Town of Vandenbroek and had been an Appleton area resident all of her life. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, and Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, and a member of the Christian Ladies Society.
Survivors include her husband, John; two daughters and a son in-law, Joyce and Henry Cops, Kimberly; Shirley Linskens, Appleton; a son, Brother Daniel Linskens O.S.B., St. Meinrad, Indiana; two brothers, Martin Thyssen, Neenah, and Raymond Thyssen, Appleton; two sisters, Sister Ann Thyssen, Racine; Mrs. Paul [Ethel] Hietpas, Coleman; four grandsons, James, Thomas, John, and Eddy Cops.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Ronald Colombo officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Valley Funeral Funeral Home, Appleton from 4-9 Monday, and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the cortege leaves for the church. A prayer service will be 7 p.m. Monday.
