John G. Fritsch, 73, of Menasha passed away at his home on Friday July 12, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on December 29, 1950, at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI to the late Leo and Betty (Alberts) Fritsch.

He was a graduate of Menasha class of 1969 and worked at several paper mills until 1997 when he became a full-time antique dealer. He and Beth were married in 1984 and spent the next 40 years happily together.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Fritsch; sons Jesse (Jordan) Fritsch, Neenah, and Nicholas Fritsch, Menasha; brothers Kenneth (Mary) Fritsch, and Paul (Susi) Fritsch; sister Donna (Michael) Henschel and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Betty Fritsch; his sister Debbie Fritsch and beloved grandmother Marie Korth.

John was a very kind, warm and generous person. He had many good friends and had a great love of nature and animals. He adopted many rescues and strays throughout the years. He had a passion for antiques, especially brewery advertising from Menasha and dairy items from the Fritsch Dairy Farm. He loved buying and selling at antique shows and flea markets with his son Nicholas. You could always find him visiting and telling stories to customers and the other dealers. John was funny, quirky and he had fun wherever he went. He was an avid Packer fan and, in his youth, spent Sundays with his dad at the games. He was a die-hard democrat who loved talking politics with his friends. John was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family above all. He was so proud of his two boys and did everything he could to give them a good start in life. Life will never be the same without you, John. We love you now and forever.

Our family would like to thank all the people who knew and loved John and supported us through this very difficult time. You know who you are, and words cannot express how grateful we are. We would like to thank his lifelong friend Danny Wilkinson with whom he shared many youthful adventures, Jon Huntington and Martin Schryver for the fun and companionship with them throughout the years. Thank you to the kind and compassionate doctors and nurses at the VA and ThedaCare.

In lieu of a funeral service, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
