Mrs. Aloysius Hopfensperger [ Grace A. Kersten ] 9354 Yurek Rd. Pulaski, 96
died Wednesday July 5, 1995 at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay after a short illness. She was born May 3, 1899 in Wrightstown, the daughter of the late Albert
and Johanna [ Zittlow ] Kersten. Grace was a long time resident in Kaukauna.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and a inspiration to all who knew her.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a long time member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters.
She is survived by a son and daughter in-law; Cyril and Dorothy Hopfensperger, Green Bay; three daughters and a son in-law; Helen and Bill Putzer, Appleton; Lucille Cooper, Menlo Park, Ca.; Marion Bellarosa, Stuart, Florida; 21 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Renke, Seymour; a cousin, Cliff (Laona) Zittlow, Wrightstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius; three sons; Donald, Jack and Aloysius Hopfensperger; two son in-laws; Nicholas Bellarosa and Bob Cooper.
The funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday July 8, 1995 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday (today) and after 8 a.m. on Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday.
