    • Marian Vosters, age 93, of Freedom, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was born on May 9, 1924 to the late John and Jean (Deleest) Spierings. On May 2, 1946, Marian was united in marriage to Norbert P. Vosters and they shared 66 wonderful years together before his passing in 2013. Marian’s life revolved around her family. She proudly raised 10 children while helping out on the family farm. She was a wonderful grandmother to 30 grandchildren and great grandmother to 37, with three more on the way. She was truly devoted to her family and to her Catholic faith. Marian was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. She was also known for her delicious homemade "Grandma's chip dip", popsicles and famous chocolate chip cookies. Marian enjoyed talking about the weather and was an avid fan of the Freedom wrestling program. Some of her favorite times were spent with her entire family on their week long summer vacations to Shawano Lake. Marian was most happy when she could spend time with her family.

      Marian is survived by her loving children: Jean (Wayne) Nackers, Dennis (Vicky) Vosters, Joyce (Mike) Evers, Dave “Fuzzy” (Carol) Vosters, Duane “Bert” (Lori) Vosters, Julie (Dave) Van Schyndel, Darrel (Carol) Vosters, Dean (Valerie) Vosters, Dick (Jill) Vosters, Don (Molly) Vosters; her precious grandchildren: Jill (Joel) Hinkens, Jodi (Jeremy) Olmsted, Michael (Yvette) Nackers, Kristi (Craig) Krieski, Jamie (Michelle) Vosters, Jeremy (Terra) Vosters, Joey (Sarah) Vosters, Nikki (John) Bell, Tammy (Nate) Weyenberg, Brett Evers, Jesse (Becky) Vosters, Dana (Jason) Wilkinson, Ryan (Brittany) Vosters, Kirk Vosters, Kelsey (Jim) Christensen, Kendall Vosters, Tyler (Kayter) Van Schyndel, Danielle (Chad) Schuh, Brooke (Travis) Hoffman, Nick Vosters, Katie (Lucas) Jadin, Luke, Matt and Jacob Vosters, Samantha, Adam and Leah Vosters, Ellie, Evan and Grant Vosters; 37 great-grandchildren; siblings: Jim (Theresa) Spierings, Marge Holcomb, Betty (Tony) Hietpas; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim Maldwin, Arthur, Simon and Jeanette Vosters; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.

      Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; her parents, John and Jean Spierings; great grandson, Cooper Wilkinson; siblings: Donna Maldwin, Dorothy (Jerry) Rohan, John (Evelyn) Spierings, Evelyn (John) Welhouse, Helen (Norbert) Le Noble; brothers and sisters-in-law: Stan Holcomb, Liz (Norbert) Becker, Agnes (Gordy) VandeHey, Sylvester (Jane), Andrew (Calixta), Wilfred Vosters, Eunice Vosters, Gilbert (Isabelle), Ernest, and Arlene Vosters, Clem Cooney; father and mother-in-law, Martin and Anna Vosters.

      Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, June 25, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the VERKUILEN-VAN DEURZEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, N3972 COLUMBIA AVE, FREEDOM. Visitation will continue Monday morning, June 26, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 S. PINE STREET, LITTLE CHUTE. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.

      Mom, we love you and you will be dearly missed. We are glad you and Dad are together again forever.
