    • Clarence Gehl, 70, of 212 Iroquois Avenue, Green Bay, died Sunday evening, May 26, at Americana East Health Care Center in Green Bay after a brief illness.
      Mr. Gehl was born January 8, 1915, in Hilbert, son of the late Andrew and Anna Britten Gehl.
      He was formerly employed as a truck driver for West Johnson Cartage Co. and Schwerman Trucking Co., both of Denmark.
      Mr. Gehl was a member of All Saints Parish in Denmark, the Knights of Columbus, and American Legion Johnson-Hershman Post 363 of Denmark. He was a retired member of the Teamsters Union.
      He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Emma Braun of Duluth, Minnesota, Mrs. Othmar (Mathilda) Gilsdorf of Hilbert, Mrs. Marie Weber of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Roland (Rosemond) Kees of Sheboygan Falls; two brothers, Joseph of Hilbert and Aloysius of Sheboygan Falls; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
      He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
      The funeral Mass will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. The Rev. Anthony Birdsall, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
