      Christopher L. Driessen 8191/2 Blackwell St. Kaukauna

      Age 47, died suddenly Saturday, September 13, 1997, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born October 20, 1949, in Kaukauna, the osn of Leo and Fran [Hopfensperger] Driessen. He was a graduate of Kaukauna High School, class of 1967. Chris received a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and taught high school in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area for many years. He was listed in the Who's Who's in the American Colleges. Chris enjoyed scuba diving and rock climbing.

      He is survived by his parents, Leo and Fran Driessen, Kaukauna; two brothers and sisters in-law, Paul and Deborah Driessen, Fairfax, Virginia; Joseph and Karen Driessen, Apple Valley, Minnesota; two sisters, Jane Driessen, St. Paul, Minnesota; Andrea Driessen, Seattle, Washington; a nephew, Ari Driessen; three nieces, Elizabeth, Allison, and Amy Driessen.

      A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 1997, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna from 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
