    • Scottsdale, AZ - Linda Van Veghel Bongers Press, 50, Scottsdale, AZ., formerly of De Pere passed away in Scottsdale on December 13, 2018. She was born January 9, 1968 to Diane Ronsman and the late Thomas Van Veghel. Linda graduated from West De Pere High School in 1986. She earned her Bachelors in Nursing from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, Pa. Linda worked in nursing in the Green Bay area before moving to Scottsdale and continuing there.

      She loved the outdoors, whether hiking, or horseback riding, above all it was the time spent with her son Alex and her family and friends that meant the most to her.

      She is survived by her son Alex Bongers and his girlfriend Marisa Moen, her mother, Diane (David) Olson, siblings; Mary Ann (Tim) O'Neill, Detroit, Jim (Monica) Van Veghel, Kathy (Dan) Thomson, and Brenda (Dave) Schecher. Linda is further survived by nieces and nephews; Carter and Cole Thomson, Mallory Van Veghel, Sam Schecher, her beloved dog Abby, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.

      She was preceded in death by her father; Thomas Van Veghel.

      Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere from 3:00PM - 8:00PM Friday December 21, 2018. A service for Linda will take place at 7:00PM with a sharing of memories. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
