    • Peshtigo - Eldora L. Abel, 81, of Peshtigo, passed away December 2, 2018 at Rennes East in Peshtigo. Eldora was born March 4, 1937 to the late Gustave and Esther (Ahrens) Seefeldt. She married Eugene Abel in 1956, and they were married until his death in 2004.

      Eldora was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was employed for many years at Coleman Products until it's closing. She enjoyed working there with many friends and family. In her earlier years she enjoyed lake and stream trout fishing, trap shooting, gardening, traveling and playing cards with family and friends.

      She befriended much of the wildlife that surrounded her home and enjoyed the companionship of her cats, Nala and Missy.

      Eldora is survived by her daughters, Debra (Richard) Nordquist, Cindy Abel, and Amy (James) Peterson; 4 grandchildren, Tara (James) Knopf, Tyler Nordquist, Matthew Peterson, and Casey Peterson;

      2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Harrison Knopf; a sister, MaryAnn (Harvey) Denowski; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Seefeldt, Geraldine Radzinski & (Richard Adamski) and Janice (Robert) Kamin.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 brothers, Leroy, Gerald and Raymond Seefeldt; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Ida Abel; a sister-in-law, Delores Seefeldt;

      5 brothers-in-law, John, Fred, Frank and Harvey Abel and George Radzinski.

      Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover from 9:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Pastor Luke Myslik officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
