Notes - Donna Mae Vruwink, 66, Milladore, the mother of state Rep. Amy Sue Vruwink, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at her residence. She was under the care of the Oncology Department, Palliative Care Unit and Ministry Home Care Hospice from St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in Vesper, with the Revs. Jude Ndugbu and Chester Osowski officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in the town of Sherry in Wood County.
Visitation will be at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A memorial will be established in her name.
Mrs. Vruwink was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Wisconsin Rapids, a daughter of Mabel (Tracey) Spranger and the late Harvey Spranger. She attended Vesper Elementary School and Assumption High School, graduating in 1957.
She was married to James T. Vruwink on May 10, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids.
She was formerly employed by Consoweld, Lakeside Packing Co. and Wausau Insurance.
