    • Stockbridge – John Bovee, 57, died at his home in the village Monday night, following a heart attack. He had been ill for the past two weeks.
      Mr. Bovee was born July 19, 1887, at Sherwood. He made his home with his sisters, Mrs. Nettie Johnson at Gravesville and with Mrs. C. E. Bishop at Sherwood. On Nov. 22, 1910 he married Rose Winkel and they resided on a farm north of here until two years ago when they purchased the Zahringer residence in the village where he passed away.
      Survivors are the widow; 2 daughters, Iola at home and Mrs. Sylvester Penning, Fresno, Calif.; a granddaughter, Sandra Lee Penning; 3 sisters, Mrs. Nettie Johnson, Racine; Mrs. C. E. Bishop, Sherwood and Mrs. Robert Sommerfeld, West Allis; a brother, Robert Bovee, Washington, D.C. and a half brother, Myron Chapin, Oshkosh.
      Funeral services will be held Friday at St. Mary’s church here. The Rev. Theo. Kersten will officiate and burial will take place in the church cemetery.
