- Services Wednesday at St. Mary's
for Peter M. Micke, 84

Funeral services for Peter M. Micke, 84, of 219 West Third St., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Gary J. Dantinne officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Micke died at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 7, at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute, following a long illness.
He was born May 22, 1895 in St. John, Wis., and had lived in the Kaukauna area most of his life. He was employed by the C. R. Meyer Construction Company and Abe Goldin and Sons prior to his retirement in 1956.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. George (Martha) Derks, Mrs. Ervin (Lorraine) Stebane, and Mrs. Don (Joanne) Verkuilen, all of Kaukauna, Mrs. Gordon (Stephanna) Ziesemer of Appleton, and Mrs. Ben (Evelyn) Peer of Green Bay; four sons, Harold of Appleton, Peter of Phoenix, Arizona, and Clarence and Kenneth, both of Kaukauna; a brother, Raymond of Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Steve (Delores) Kortenhof of Kaukauna, and Ann Nettekoven of New London; 45 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joseph De Wilde Micke in 1853; one son; three grandsons; and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today (Tuesday). There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today.
