- Betty M. Van Laanen, 90, Green Bay passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Betty was born on August 4, 1927 in Green Bay, the daughter of the now late Francis and Agnes (Perret) Roskom. She married Donald J. Van Laanen at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Don preceded her in death in 2003.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Lori Van Laanen, 3 grandchildren, Brett (Haily) Manteufel, Bryan (Kayla Knutson) Manteufel, Dana Manteufel. She is further survived by her sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, 1 son Craig and an infant daughter Mary.
Gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. The family would like to offer a warm note of appreciation to Curative Connections for their love and support thru the years~ your kindness will never be forgotten. Also, a thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff of Cherry Meadows who gave Betty great comfort and peace during her final days.
