      Age 61, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away May 4, 2005, in Winfield, Kan. Jim was the son of Ruth and Clifford Johnson. He was born Feb. 2, 1944 in Kaukauna. Jim Johnson was a graduate of Kaukauna High School class of 1963. He was employed by Rubbermaid Corp. of Kansas. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army from Feb. 1964 until July 1967, where he was stationed in Vietnam. He did a second tour of duty in Vietnam from Dec. 1968 to Dec. 1971 and was honorably discharged. His sister, Patty, who Jim fondly called Dukes, will be the recipient of a U.S. flag from the V.A.

      Jim is survived by two children: daughter, Cynthia and son, Brandon; three grandchildren, all of Oklahoma; one sister Patty (Mike) Stanley of Oregon; three brothers: Steve Johnson of California, Tom (Carolyn) Johnson of Kaukauna, and Don (Kay) Johnson of Oregon. Jim also has six nephews and three nieces and numerous aunts and one uncle.

      Jim was preceded in death by wife Dee, both parents Ruth and Clifford Johnson and two sisters, Jane and Cynthia. In honoring Jim's wishes, a private memorial service will be held.
