- Neenah - Eric N. Wienandt, age 36, left us unexpectedly on Saturday, September 29th, 2018. He was born on September 30th, 1981 to Evelyn "Sue" and the late David Wienandt in Appleton, WI.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed riding bmx, bowling, trout fishing, frisbee golf, and foosball. He loved music, camping, classic cars, and spending time with his friends and family. Eric's two daughters, Melody and Isabell were the center of his life and he loved them more than they will ever know. Eric was a very outgoing, genuine person who made friends everywhere he went. Eric had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his pets and was always taking in strays. He hugged deeply and loved widely. His infectious smile and witty sense of humor could light up a room. He was hardworking and trustworthy. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Eric is survived by his daughters, Melody and Isabell Wienandt; mother, Sue Wienandt; brother, Ryan (Heidi) Wienandt; nephew, Parker Wienandt; special friend, Layne Purdy, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his father, David Wienandt; Aunt, Peggy Reab; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Florence Wienandt; and maternal grandparents Martin and Jerrine Josephs.
We will always have your memory and smile imbedded in our hearts. Your unexpected passing has left us heartbroken, but we will never forget the son, brother, friend, and father that you became and took pride in being. We gain comfort in the peace you now have. Love Mom and Ryan.
The Funeral Service for Eric will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
