- David Josephs, 73, of Ashwaubenon, passed away Friday evening, February 11, 2011 at home. The son of the late Hugo and Ethel (Bertrand) Josephs was born August 2, 1937 in Green Bay. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. On February 13, 1960, he married the former Sharon Becker at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere. Dave was an avid trap-shooter and had won many awards over the years. He loved spending time with his "shooting buddies".
Survivors include his wife, Sharon, their children, Terrie Rosin (and her late husband Mike Rosin), Julie (Tom) Baeten, Mike (Jody) Josephs, and Lori Josephs, their grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica), Bradley and Mitchell Rosin, Brandon and Brianna Baeten, Sarah, Stephanie and Michael Josephs, his siblings, Donald and Dorothy Josephs, Bill and Karen Josephs and June Kaye. Dave is further survived by Sharon's family, Jim and Marsha Becker, Doris and Bob Steiner, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Mike Rosin, brother-in-law, Jerry Kaye and sister-in-law, Janice Pahl. Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, WI, from 3:30 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday February 15, 2011. Funeral Service of Remembrance will be celebrated at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen, officiating. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
