- Gillett - Brent T. Aderholdt, age 31 of Gillett, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Brent was born on July 12, 1987 to Tammie Szalewski and Steve Aderholdt. He graduated from Pulaski High School with the Class of 2006. Brent worked numerous other jobs before working at Northeast Asphalt for the past 5 years. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 Union. On January 23, 2016, Brent married Jessica Van Gheem in Krakow. A little over a year later, Brent and Jessica renewed their vows on June 10, 2017. Brent enjoyed his work, ice fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of his 1949 John Deere B Tractor. Brent's children were the pride of his life and he loved every moment he had with his children.
Brent is survived by his wife, Jessica and their two kids, Bowen and unborn daughter, McKenna; his daughter, Madysen; his parents, Tammie (Ric) Szalewski and Steve Aderholdt; brother, Clayton Aderholdt; step-brother and sister, Alec Szalewski and Hailey Szalewski; maternal grandmother, Marie Wolf; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Karen Aderholdt; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Nancy Van Gheem; sister-in-laws, Jamie (Travis) Athey and Mindy (Michael) Athey; godparents, Amy Wolf and Russell Wolf; special friend, Larry (Virginia) Zimmerman. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Wolf; uncle, Charlie Aderholdt; great-grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring (116 South Krueger Street, Suring, WI 54174) from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed (13346 County Road AA, Suring, WI 54174) from 9 am until the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Brent will be interred in Breed Union Cemetery next to his grandfather Paul at a later date. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
