    • Alice "Peggy" M. Britten, 93, Wausau, died Monday, April 17, 2017 under the care of Aseracare Hospice at Rennes Health and Rehab Center, Weston.She was born October 6, 1923 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frederick and Agnes (Martini) Kimball. In 1951 she married Norbert Britten and he preceded her in death.Alice worked at Menasha Products prior to her marriage and in the claims and reinsurance departments at Wausau Insurance for many years. She was a charter member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau and enjoyed reading, playing games and above all spending time with her family and friends. She cherished time spent with her two very special granddaughters.Survivors include her children, Barbara Britten, Wausau and Therese (James) Muus, Siren; granddaughters, Britteny Muus, Elk River, Minnesota and Emily Muus, Siren; son-in-law, Michael Donohoe, Laurel, Maryland.Besides her parents and husband, Norbert, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Donohoe, a brother, Frederick (Dorothy) Kimball and a sister, Maurine (John) Black.The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Dan Thelen and Monsignor Joseph Diermeier will preside. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
