      Kaukauna Worker Killed in Minnesota
      Welcome, MN: A worker from Wisconsin was killed in southern Minnesota Wednesday night when a tractor he was using to help hoist a derailed train car tipped over & pinned him. The Martin County Sheriffs office identified him as Alan Mischler, 42, Kaukauna. Authorities said Mischler was operating 1 of 3 tractors being used to recover 3 cars of a North Western Railroad freight train which had derailed in early afternoon at welcome. Two cars had been righted & the crew was working on the third when witnesses said a sling attached to the car came loose & the Caterpiller tipped over pinning Mischler under the machine. Mischler was working for Berg & Henn Company of Appleton which specializes in recovering derailed train cars.
