    • Green Bay - Elizabeth "Betty" J. Meyer, 88, passed peacefully to the next world on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born to Michael and Amy (Rose) Casper on December 1, 1929, in Mill Center. Betty attended Mill Center School for her primary grades and graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1947.

      On November 24, 1948, she married Harold Jacob Meyer at St. John the Baptist Church in Howard. They were wed for 66 years before Harold passed away on May 2, 2014. During those years, they shared in the birth and rearing of six children. Their daughters, Christine Privett, Rebecca (Ric) Van Sistine; their sons, Jack and Robert (Tina) Meyer; and their daughters, Nancy (David) McKee and Kathy (Randy) Parins.

      The 11 grandchildren that arrived provided joy and delight: Rich (Kimberly), Matt, Paul (Angie), Lisa, Jon, Luke (Sarah), Ben and Elizabeth Van Sistine; Maureen (John) Kubalak and Sara (Shawn) Vander Heyden; and Eric (Heidi) Meyer.

      12 precious great-grandchildren include: Olivia, Claudia, Naomi, and Amelia Van Sistine; Sophia, Lily, Gabriel and Jacob Kubalak; Sam, Jonah and Solveig Van Sistine; Maverick Meyer and Leia Vander Heyden.

      Betty is also survived by several special nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Christine; her parents; her parents-in-law, Jacob and Louise (Wagner) Meyer; her brother, Daniel (Jessie) Casper; her sisters, Frances (Ambrose) Williquette and Marie (Earl) Routhieaux.

      On Monday, May 28 a noon graveside dedication will be officiated at Mill Center Cemetery, her final resting place. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
