    Margaret M. Artz May 4, 1929 ~ April 11, 2023 (age 93)
Margaret Mary Artz, 93, was welcomed into heaven on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Margaret was born in Little Chute, WI on May 4th, 1929 to Stephen and Clara (Coenen) Diedrick. She met Lawrence Artz on a blind date. They were married on July 28th 1953 and lovingly raised 3 adopted children. Margaret loved being surrounded by her family, supporting and attending their events and activities. Margaret was always up for a good game of sheepshead, and cheering on the Brewers, Badgers, and the Packers. She was well known for her baking abilities. She made numerous wedding, First Communion, and birthday cakes for many in the area. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, cooking, and “silent” retreats with her sisters. Margaret was strong in her faith and love for Jesus Christ. She approached tasks with a servant's heart and attended Mass regularly. Margaret belonged to many organizations and was very active in the community.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her husband Larry just shy of 70 years. She is further survived by her daughters, Noreen (Paul) Hannemann, Lynn Artz; and daughter-in-law Lynn Artz the 2nd; 5 grandchildren; Sarah (Brent) Knutson, Maria Verkuilen, Carly (Corey) Wachtendonk, Joy Vanevenhoven, Shane (Kathryn) Vanevenhoven, 5 great grandchildren; Alex, Brooks, Nick, Rocky and Carter, her siblings, Sr Marian Diedrick, Rose Ebben, Imelda (Marv) Hietpas, Rita (Jerry) Hietpas, Bob (Judy) Diedrick and Jerome (Pat) Diedrick and brother-in-law Joe Uitenbroek and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her son, Paul, parents, sister, Eleanor Uitenbroek, mother-in-law, Johanna Artz and in-laws John Ebben, Quint and Jo De Bruin, Marie and Tom Yeoman, Gertrude Artz and John and Curly Artz.

The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at Country Villa in Little Chute who Margaret loved very much.
