- De Pere - Judith Elizabeth Vanderbloomen, age 80 of De Pere, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born to the late Joseph and Theresa (Jungwirth) Blechl in Oshkosh. Judy attended Mercy School of Nursing in Oshkosh. After graduating, she initially worked at St. Vincent Hospital. For most of her career, she worked for Dr. Jensen at the Walnut Family Clinic. Judy was a member of the Red Hatters group, the Roselles, and through that group, was instrumental in assisting several veteran's groups.
She is survived by her husband, Omer, as well as many family members and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held. Donations in Judy's name can be made to the DePere DAV, 1253 Scheuring Rd, Suite A, DePere, WI 54115. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
