      Mrs. Heindel's Sudden Death
      1-12-1912

Mrs. Anna Heindel, widow of the late Martin Heindel, died quite suddenly of heart failure Wednesday morning at 6:40 o'clock. She retired Tuesday evening in her usual health and at eleven o'clock her son, August Heindel, heard her breathing quite heavily in an unusual manner. He at once sent for a physician who found her unconscious and past medical aid her life going out in the early morning hour without recovering consciousness. Their physician had told her family a year ago of what might be expected at some future time. Mrs. Heindel was born at Milwaukee in 1860.

Miss Anna Heyde and Martin Heindel were married at West Bend 30 years ago and came to Kaukauna soon after. Mr. Heindel built the large brick block at the corner of Wisconsin avenue and Lawe street in 1888. He died in 1904.

The children surviving are August, Dora, Otto, Nicholas, Martin, Francis, Christinn and John Heindel, all at home; also three brothers and two sisters as follows: Rev. Joseph E. Heyde, Madison; Robert Heyde, Green Bay; Anton Heyde, Milwaukee; Mrs. Augusta Wilger, West Bend; Mrs. M. A. Roggenbauer, Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held Saturday morning at nine o'clock from Holy Cross church where the services will be conducted by Mrs. Heindel's brother, the Rev. Joseph E. Heyde. Interment will be at the cemetery of the Holy Cross by the side of her husband.
